FIAS helps you dispose your waste in an environmentally sound and efficient manner. With proper sorting, waste can be a valuable resource.
All households in Fjelleregionen must subscribe to waste collection service. The subscription includes regularly collection of bags, and access to collection of waste.
- We collect residual waste every two weeks, and clean plastic and clean paper every four weeks. The bag must be ready for pick- up no later 07.00 a.m. on the collection day.
- In each municipality in Fjellregionen there are several unattended collection point where households can deliver sorted waste. There are separate containers for cardboard, glass and metal packaging, cardboard and paper.
- At staffed recycling stations can supply all kinds of waste during opening hours
